“Really professional standard of speakers – everything about the day was excellent. Really glad I went.” (Rebecca Stone, Bottle Kiln)

If you missed out on this excellent event, please see the report below, and remember to book for the 2009 event.

Attended by representatives from many factions of the industry: distributors, suppliers, manufacturers, café owners & trainers, this event was an opportunity for all to reflect and learn how to survive, and indeed be strengthened, by the current economic climate.

Conference Chair, Paula Bentley commented “Ensuring your business is not “put on hold” during this period is essential and also investing in the right areas – the areas that will make your business more robust and therefore more likely to survive.”

In offering this conference, the BSA were undoubtedly taking the bull by the horns and giving its members much needed support through a very strong range of speakers. There were three main areas: Finance, Marketing & Employment culminating with the keynote speaker Steven Bartlett CEO of Coffee Republic.

Steven Bartlett concluded his extremely well received talk – “all must be reminded that remaining stagnant and doing nothing during this unstable time will almost certainly result in failure. Action is the key.”

The conference was followed by the BEV-E 2008 Awards dinner click here for more details.
